Exciting trip up the mountain this morning, lots of play places for my grandson, a suspension bridge, and a great walk to the lookout.

to Whistler

Rainy weather forecast so off to Whistler for a matinee. Saw the movie "Finding Dory".  The sequel to "Finding Nemo".

Father's day morning

Dave spotted 3 coyotes on the golf course behind the Executive Suites this morning. May be hard to find them in the photo. (hint....they're in the  center).  Also looking out over the course after brunch.

Trip to Squamish

Usual drive on the Coquihalla Highway. ..this year is the thirtieth anniversary since completion (was for Expo'86 in Vancouver ).  Stopped in Langley for lunch with a high school friend.  Squamish was rainy and overcast when we arrived but had a great visit with my daughter and her family. A view from the hotel room and of the pool as well.

Food truck fundraiser

For the Therapeutic Riding Association. ..on the far west of Kamloops off Aviation Way. A very well attended event. I'm sure the organizers never expected so many people.  The food was great!🍗🍟🍵

At the cabin fishing?

Weather is unpredictable, snow on the mountain passes, so decided to build another LEGO scene. Completed in 1 and 1/2 hours so my LEGO learning curve is pretty good...and here's the Moose!

Not travelling....what to do

Try something new ....LEGO.  First time building with LEGO.  Pretty happy with the results.

Great morning walk on Mac island....using the app. Map my walk. My time wasn't that great because this gorgeous creature was standing on the walk.

Sunny,warm morning at the park.  Kid's wading pool,play park and lots of shade.

MacArthur Island Park III A boaters paradise!

Have never seen so many boat trailers.  The parking lot was full and there were still  3 more ready to offload.  Rows of colorful canoes too. The river is high enough this time of year to use the boat ramp.

Another nice walk in the park. Did the other half of the island this time.                         Curiously as well as no geese there are no marmots. In previous years there would be around fifty seen during a walk.
There's a Parcour course for seniors as well as lawn bowling.
The skateboard Park is well used.

Kamloops,BC.....MacArthur Island Park

Went for a walk on a warm June afternoon. A wonderful park with great pathways. For walking,biking,in-line skating and jogging.
Sports fields for soccer and baseball.  A skate board park.
A hockey rink, curling rink and a speed skating oval.
Mini golf and a 9 hole course.
A butterfly garden,  ducks ,beaver and sometimes deer.
For some reason the geese and their poop were gone....yeah!
