Kaleden on Skaha Lake

Stopped here on our mini vacation to the South Okanogan.  Pioneer Park was a great spot. The Kettle Valley Railroad ran here and it was a steamship stop. The hotel burned down years ago  but the shell is beautiful and used as a stop for all kinds of celebrations.

Adventures on Knouff Lake.

My family had a great time paddle boarding and fishing at Knouff.   Some wonderful memories for the grandchildren.

Mountain cross cart course at Sun Peaks

My grandchildren enjoyed watching this but it'll be a few more years before they can try it, you have to be 14. The carts are towed up the hill and only have brakes and steering for your drive down the track.

Afternoon at Sun Peaks Resort

While staying at Knouff Lake we decided to check things out at Sun Peaks which was only about a half hour drive. The sun was shining and everyone took time to  check out their cel phones as there was no cel reception or wifi at the lake.

Knouff Lake Fishing Resort

Rented a cabin here for a week with daughters, their spouses, and my grandchildren. What a wonderful time especially for the grandchildren.

Howe Sound Brewing Co.

Had supper here on August 9th with my Squamish family and  your daughter's in laws.   Great supper and great atmosphere.   Not sure I'm  much of a craft beer aficionado though.

Eagle viewing at Brackendale near Squamish

Although we were there at the wrong time of year to see the eagles it was interesting to walk along the Squamish River and see the displays. Hope to get back in December to see the hundreds of eagles feeding on salmon.
