First stop of interest was Bemidji, Minnesota to see the statue of Paul Bunyan and his blue ox Babe. He is an American folklore character whose exploits were larger than life.
Bemidji is also considered the first city on the Mississippi and we crossed the river twice!
Of course it is pretty small there.
